Actually, a hot beverage makes you cool down in hot weather. I don’t do it myself though. People who do that usually use tea.

I’ve seen and heard this repeated so often but I seriously struggle to believe it.

Yeah sure it burns calories warming cold water up inside your body, but when you chug cold water on a hot day you can literally feel it inside you cooling you down.

Drinking hot drinks on a hot day warms you up further because you’re holding a hot cup and sweating and steamy and basically purposefully making yourselt uncomfortable.

You need to live in a dry climate for it to work. The increased sweating more than makes up for the added heat from the tea.

At 7.25 per hour, if someone asks for something behind 12 bins of athletic equipment they can get fucked, especially if there is a line behind them. At 80 degrees Hot Chocolate won’t be behind the desk.

Anon may have wants but unless he is coughing up the dough he ain’t getting shit.

I hope when you next need medical attention they will have the same mindset. Okay I don’t hope that, but you can see how this would play out.

This is not the same lol. Concessions stands prepare certain things based on what they expect to sell. They don’t expect people to want hot chocolate in the summer so they don’t prepare for it. It’s not rocket science

“Why can’t the concession stand keep everything ready year round just in case I want to be treated special?”

Hot Chocolate mix is probably burried in the storage room behind layers of athletic equipment. OP probably asked in Aug-Sep or May+.

If they were in a long line I would tell them to get fucked as well. High school concession staff isn’t payed enough to deal with that.

Depends on the district but yes. They should be getting at least minimum wage, so 7.25 per hour.

If your district is running on a volunteer basis I’m surprised they have staff.

Anyone 16+ is hireable and highly contested due to their low pay. Walmart or any national brand will pay them so they have no reason to work for the district for free.

It’s 4-chan so who knows what the interaction was actually like or if it even happened, but his stated objection was to how he was treated for asking not for them saying they didn’t have it.

anon makes a peculiar request in a perfectly acceptable way, gets told what he wants isn’t being offered, blows it hilariously out of proportion, then has a meltdown and rants to 4chan about acceptability. anon you fucking idiot lmao
