Importantly, this is the amount of funds which are currently appropriated by Congress. Not the amount of funds which will ever be given to Ukraine by the United States.
But with a shutdown mere days away, and the new qanon Speaker flexing his stupidity for all to see, America is close to closing up shop itself … never mind sending more aid to Ukraine.
Divert all aid to Israel to Ukraine.
Make Israelis pay back their US handouts.
Maybe the white house could take some of that 14 billion dollars in military aid headed towards israel and give it to ukraine who’s actually dealing with an invasion instead? I know I’m just thinking completely out of the box here, but it might just work.
Just print more money. Problem solved.
