This is precisely why we have disabled unsupervised community creation and have instead have users submit a request. Highly recommended.
That and a limit of 3 per user per day seem rational.
Maybe it could be per IP, so that way someone can’t make a bunch of alts to circumvent the limit.
Maybe account needs to be a week old?
This should be the standard
Looks like it is the same dude, a lot of the communities have “LMAO” in them like last time
edit: dude is pissed at me LMAO

Probably awkwardtheturtle, the Reddit mod with the most to lose and a chip on his shoulder. Reddit did him dirty, absolutely, but the guy gets zeroympathy from me. It was a long time coming and it needed to happen whether Reddit was dying or not.
Oh no looks like he’ll be impersonating you now lmao
oh shit, speak of the Devil and he appears!
Everyone watch out, we’ve got a god-tier redditor on our hands
His breath probably reeks of Spez’s ejaculate.
It’s not me I swear
It has been dealt with. You can PM with the user and we will take care of it. Thanks!
Just saw this as well. What’s even the point? it’ll probably take the admins like 10 minutes to remove them
Also just to add: it looks like they are being made by /u/fuck and /u/crappy, but I don’t see a way to report them
edit: now it’s /u/LolaCatt, apparently i pissed him off lol
Not really sure what anyone has to gain by doing this.
just pinged the dude on matrix
Sent the three site admins PMs about the new accounts and communities around 10 minutes after /crappy account was created. Had already made over 400 communities in that timeframe.
nice job. u/Lollacat still online
Well aware. I believe one of the admins is taking care of it rn. u/fuck u/LollaCatt and u/crappy are the three I’ve seen so far spamming community creation calls.
I know my memes aren’t great but come on
what do those translate into (from hex, I presume)?
They’re probably just chunks of uuids. Not meaningful, just easy to generate programmatically and valid as community names.
Trolls gonna troll
