Nissan confirmed two future electric models for Europe – the successor to the Leaf that will enter production in Sunderland in 2026 and the compact Micra EV.

“There is no turning back now,” Nissan CEO Makoto Uchida said as the brand pledged to go all-electric in the region by 2030.
