Oh. With an E. I was concerned there for a minute. Naming your company one letter off from one that’s been around since the 1600s and internationally known for high quality kind of already says you’re scammy and not to be taken seriously.
Meh the dude who founded the company is named Henrick Fisker. Car companies love naming themselves single words that are just someone’s last name.
What company?
The blade and tool company.
Fiskars?
My uncle preordered the Fisker Ocean. He said it was the worst car he ever had and returned it within a week or so. So yeah, not surprised.
Rip
I can see this going a couple of ways.
-
Geely swoops in, buys everything, keeps Ocean production going, and folds it in with all the other names it has.
-
It gets sold off and disappears forever.
they tried to sell to another car mfg but negotiations broke down.
they were early to market but way too slow to grow/work out issues.
There isn’t much to sell, only the car design. All the manufacturing and major components are Magna International. Magna Steyr handled the manufacturing and the parts that went in were apparently a Magna International companies parts catalog special.
